“We Allowed India to Hit Pakistan”: Pakistan's Ridiculous Excuse to Save Face Over China's Third-Rate HQ-9 System

In a display that has stunned strategic experts worldwide, China's recent push to make Pakistan publicly claim they "allowed" Indian drones and missiles to hit targets unchallenged has become a textbook example of absurdity in geopolitical discourse.

India’s Precision, Pakistan’s Paralysis

Over the past few weeks, Indian drones and missiles have reportedly struck deep within Pakistani territory with surgical precision. While India's S-400 systems—along with the indigenous Akash Air Defence System—successfully neutralized attempted counterattacks involving over 400 Turkish-origin Harop drones, Pakistan failed to respond in any meaningful way.

Instead of admitting a complete failure of their air defense capabilities, Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif bizarrely stated that the inaction was intentional—so as to not “reveal the location” of Pakistan’s air defense infrastructure.

The World Reacts with Disbelief

Experts across the globe are dumbfounded. Defense systems are by design mobile—deployed via transport vehicles to be repositioned as needed. The notion that simply responding to an attack would "expose" their position is laughable and defies basic military logic.

Behind this illogical narrative lies the real culprit: China’s HQ-9 air defense system.

China’s Copycat Defense Tech Is Failing

The HQ-9, which is a reverse-engineered patchwork of Russian S-300 and Western technologies, has long been criticized for its unreliable performance. Lacking innovation and riddled with quality-control issues, this system is a shadow of the air defense technologies it tries to mimic.

Now, to protect its reputation in international arms markets and save face over its "Made in China" clown tech, China is allegedly pressuring Pakistan to concoct explanations that deflect attention from HQ-9’s failure in actual combat scenarios.

Media Propaganda and the War of Information

Adding fuel to the fire, some Pakistani-origin journalists are writing unverified reports in international outlets, falsely claiming Indian jets were shot down—without any visual proof or official confirmation. Shockingly, a few Western media houses are giving a platform to these baseless reports, despite their origins being from unverifiable or agenda-driven “sources.”

Truth Must Prevail: Be Patient, Be Vigilant

It’s essential for Indian citizens and global observers to be patient and fact-driven. Don’t fall prey to propaganda. Trust the information that is backed by official data, and always question the source of the news, especially in an era dominated by disinformation.

India, meanwhile, must step up its information warfare game—not only to counter fake narratives but to proactively expose the shady tactics and inferior military tech being pushed by nations like China and Pakistan.
